What I Wore: Sunsets on The Highline, NYC

New York Higline Street Style

We’ve been back and forth to New York all month and while there among eating and drinking the city away, we had some time to take a nice walk along the High Line. On what was possibly the most windy day we strolled around the corner from Soho House and into the sunset armed with lots of bright layers to reflect the cold and the light.

Before heading to the west side I took the liberty of shooting a little clothing grid on the floor of our super luxurious airbnb in Nolita which was the perfect hang out for a little getaway in the city. With an elevator that opened up into the stunning living room, a gorgeous view of the Empire State Building, and a Carrie Bradshawy-esque desk with a view out onto Mulberry Street from the 5th floor, our apartment was the perfect chilled home base for a weekend of gallivanting in our second home.

That day I wore a pair of Balmain-inspired jeans from Joe Fresh, an embroidered Opening Ceremony sweater, and a vintage-red Maje coat with handy breast-pocket warmers. I accessorized with a limited edition Jeff Koons x H&M bag, a pair of translucent cream suede Nike Hi’s, a pair of Super sunglasses, a Wild Moon necklace and a cozy cashmere toque from Tuck Shop Co.
