Unknown Mortal Orchestra have shared a psychedelic pastel animated video for “Nessessary Evil” off their third studio album Multi-Love which came out earlier this year. Illustrated and directed by Sean Solomon, the video focuses on a googly eyed couple that both melt into each other & destroy each other. Said Solomon on the clip…
“The video is an abstract love story about two characters whose insecurities and paranoia eventually drive them apart. I tried to show both character’s perspectives using elements from the lyrics. I had a team of amazing animators and friends.”
Check out the groovy video for “Necessary Evil” above. The video will also air on Adult Swim during their “Toonami” block on Saturday, November 21st.
