While Manchester-based sportswear brand Umbro may have risen to fashion prominence in the 1990s, the brand itself has actually been around since the 1920s, designing and manufacturing all kinds of football-related apparel, footwear, and equipment. Now the label is joining forces with British designer Henry Holland’s House of Holland imprint for a capsule collection that combines Holland’s whimsical use of print and colour with the sportswear silhouettes that made Umbro a household name. Expect oversized logos, patchwork treatments and bold pops of colour across the 24-piece collection that will be carried at Topman and ASOS starting on December 15th.
