New York streetwear retailer Footaction has opened its first Canadian flagship store in Toronto’s Eaton Centre.

The debut retail location sports 6,500 square-feet of premium streetwear organized primarily by brand rather than by product style/category. In this particular location, each brand is allocated a “concept shop” for displaying the latest and greatest range of their products: Nike has the Kicks Lounge, adidas Originals has the Collective and Puma has Select.

 

A fourth concept space is dedicated to a city-specific retail selection titled “Capsule.” Publish Brand is the first to take over the Toronto Footaction space.

Consumers and sneakerheads alike will be drawn to this curated shopping experience that features a number of collaborations and pieces unavailable at most retail locations such as PUMA x Trapstar and PUMA x Sesame Street. Lucky attendees of the opening day were able to get their hands on extremely limited releases such as the Jordan 1 “Royal,” Jordan 1 “Black Toe” and Jordan 11 “Space Jam.”
