Prabal Gurung has designed a collection in collaboration with Lane Bryant for Spring 2017.
Gurung is an activist for diversity and inclusiveness and even sent activist t-shirts down his runway at NYFW. The collection includes a range of tops, dresses and jumpsuits. Ashley Graham will be the face of the campaign. Gurung was inspired to create the collection after seeing a Lane Bryant billboard promoting body diversity.
Gurung says:
“At that moment, I knew it made sense to have the conversation with Lane Bryant, fashion gave me a platform to talk about these things — how was I going to use it?”
The collection will be available online and in stores on February 27.
