I Love this song. So hauntingly beautiful! I am also a fan of how awesome the National sound live! I saw them a couple of years ago when they were touring their album Boxer, but that was a while ago. So it is refreshing to see that they are still awesome live, especially after seeing their performance on the “The Late Show With David Letterman.” To help them perform their track “Afraid of Everyone” they brought along an amazing back up singer Sufjan Stevens. Stevens appears on the High Violet version of the song, so it does only seem fitting he would come along to reprise his role. Maybe he will make the rounds on the Nations tour? Who knows, either way watch/listen to this performance.
