The first of two presentations on and off site at Toronto Fashion Week, Lucian Matis presented a quite wearable collection for his MATIS line, of psychedelic prints mixed with leather, generous flowing wool plaids, and deep shots of merlot peplum. Setting the tone with the hottest indie pop tune by Phoenix aptly titled “Entertainment”, simply styled models strolled down the runway in what Matis described as “bright colors of the plants and animals of the Amazon, mixed with the wild patterns and prints; like leopards, feathers, and shimmering forest pools.”
