England’s indie export alt-J performed April 9 at Toronto’s Sound Academy, partnering with Samsung to launch their Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Alt-J has an impressive tour schedule ahead of them, all the way through to October 2015, with stops at Coachella (x 2) Australia, Europe, Iceland, the United States, and back to Canada for our summer festival season.
Playing a balanced, crowd-pleasing set from their two studio albums “An Awesome Wave” (2012) and “This Is All Yours” (2014), alt-J sounded tight and confident, ready for the busy year ahead. See below for the set list and photos.
