Andrew Rosen, CEO of Helmut Lang, announced today that Isabella Burley will be the brand’s first-ever editor in residence.

In this new role, Burley, who is also the editor-in-chief of Dazed, will use “her editorial eye and network of creative talent to influence all departments of the company.” She’s already lined up an exciting collaboration with Shayne Oliver, the designer and founder of Hood By Air. The project will feature women and mens clothing as well as accessories and is set to debut this September. Until then, Burley will be busy with a relaunch of Helmut Lang’s website and digital presence.

In a statement, Rosen said of the brand’s decision to bring in an editor:

“Helmut Lang is a pioneering company and we are going back to its heritage of being bold.”

We can’t wait to see how the brand develops with this new addition to the team.
