Future Islands are finally making their long awaited return with follow-up record to 2014’s Singles. Today they’ve shared the first track “Ran,” set to appear on the album which drops on April 7th via 4AD.

The band has been working on the twelve-track album for a year now at LA’s Sunset Sound. It features production John Congleton, who’s worked with St. Vincent, Sleater-Kinney, David Byrne, and more, as well as some guests including Blondie’s Debbie Harry (on a song called “Shadows”), string and horn arrangements by Patrick McMinn, as well as live drumming from the bands Michael Lowry. They also performed the album last year at a handful of secret shows under fake names.

Check out the album art and track listing below after listening to “Ran.” Be sure to catch Future Islands at one of the below days on tour this spring.
