COS has once again travelled to Salone del Mobile in Milan with a newly commissioned installation designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. Known as the ‘Forest of Light,’ the exhibit takes inspiration from the COS Spring Summer 2016 collection exploring the notions of interaction and perspective. To achieve this, Fujuimoto created a darkened space only illuminated by cones of light that respond to visitors’ movements.

It also features specially-composed audio, a subtle fog and mirrored walls that, when blended together create an almost infinite landscape where the spotlights become the trees in this man-made forest.

COS you did it again. Let this be just another reason to covet these crazy Scandinavians.

Check out the images and video from the exhibit below, and if you happen to be in Milan, stop by the Salone del Mobile to see this intriguing exhibition.
