We’ve been playing around with our new Japanese bar tools from BYOB over the last few weeks and with temperatures dropping, we’re starting to get in the mood for stiffer cocktails, that still have that summery appeal. Enter, the Lucky Negroni, which is a play on a white negroni, served up off the rocks in a gorgeous Japanese Yarai Cocktail Glass.
This cocktail has everything you love about a negroni with a somewhat savoury herbaceous appeal made possible by the mix of Green Chartreuse and gin. Surprise and excite your negroni-loving friends next time they’ll over at your place for a cocktail.
LUCKY NEGRONI COCKTAIL:
1 ½ oz Gin
1 oz Salers Aperitif
½ oz Green Chartreuse
2 Dashes Celery Bitters
Combine all the above ingredients, excluding the lemon peel, in a mixing glass with ice and stir until the mixture is well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with a lemon peel, and enjoy!
